Carla spent most of her career at Sonae, one of the largest ($6 billion in revenues)
consumer packaging companies in Europe. She was responsible for market research,
database analysis and strategic planning.
Carla also worked in campaign execution, and developed transitional programs that
increased market share and consolidated consumer identity and retention. Carla has
worked in successful new product introductions and achieved substantial business cost
reduction following a fact-finding business trip to China.
At Comadres, Carla heads up research and strategic planning. Keenly insightful and
analytical, she has been able to clearly define variables that will assist in Hispanic
segmentation analysis. Carla is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English; she also
speaks fluent French.
A native of Portugal, Carla has strong international experience and creative problem
solving abilities. She holds a Master´s degree in Economics from the University of
Oporto-Portugal. She is also certified as a public accountant. Most recently,
Carla conducted a consumer behavioral analysis study for an Economics
